General questions

What is golfity?

In golfity you can keep track of all your golf scores, calculate detailed stats and share your scores with your friends or meet new golfing friends.

What kind of stats can I get in golfity?

You will know your average score, your best score, your average number of putts per round, how many greens per round you miss... you will know everything about your game, just like the Pros!<

You can also compare your stats with other players' and obtain recommendations to improve your game.

Do I have to register to use golfity?

You don't have to register to view course scorecards, rounds entered by other players or stats. However, you do have to register (it is free) to enter your scores in golfity: if we cannot identify you when you enter your rounds we will not be able to calculate your stats!

How do I create a new round?

Once you are registered in golfity, you can create a new round. The first thing you have todo is tell us in what course you have played. You have two options for that:

a) Look up the course in the list of courses, and click on "Add new round in this course" that you will see on the scorecard.

b) Define your list of "favorite courses", those in which you play more often, clicking on "Add to favorite courses" on the course scorecard. Once you have defined your favorite courses, click on "New round" on the left menu and you can select one of your favorite courses.

Courses

My course is not in the list of courses, what do I do?

You can create a new course clicking on "Create new course" in the list of courses. You can create new courses, but you cannot edit them; if you make a mistake when creating a course, send us an email to golfity@golfity.com and we will correct it.

The scorecard for course XXX is wrong!

Unfortunately, we don't know all the courses in the world... most of the courses have been created with information found on the Internet, and many others have been created by golfity users.

If you find a course with an incorrect scorecard, we would appreciate if you could send us an email to golfity@golfity.com, and we will correct the information.
