I have just recently bought some PGF Chic Clubs in Pink and Silver, complete with Buggy and before you ask - yes Pink is my favourite colour. All Clubs are Standard Fit with graphite shafts - very nice, very erm Lady-Like.

Yarra Yarra Golf Club, 06/17/2008
Nice course which looks esier than it is
The best: 18th tee
The worst: 11th tee
Eastwood Golf Course, 05/29/2007
If you are left handed or if you have a hook shot then this course may suit you.
Eastwood Golf course is set in Idyllic scenery that makes playing Golf a delight, however, it's not a course for the faint hearted or the unfit golfer - unless you hire a cart, as there are plenty of undulating fairways and blind holes. Although golfing shoes are the only shoes allowed on the course - hiking boots wouldn't go amiss here.
It is a beautifully kempt course, with lush fairways and greens, although the many water hazards are suffering from the drought. There are a few nasty surprises with bunkers around the front of the greens and the deep, high lipped kind too.
There are very few flat tees to greens, they are either high tees to low greens, low tees to high greens or more often than not where the greens and tees are roughly the same level the fairway is higher than the tee and green, making your end target hard to picture.
Add to this the tricky, undulating fairways with cambers to the left or right and you'll be in for a disappointing time when you discover what you thought was a perfectly placed ball, wasn't and it has rolled down the slope to the opposite side, delightfully frustrating but a worthy challenge.
In order to make this course count your short game will need to be in tip top order, the greens are mainly fast and uneven, so make sure you get as close to the hole as possible to ensure the strokes don't add up.
All in all, if you like a strategic, challenging game of golf, then this course should suit you to a tee.
The best: 17th Hole - High Tee looking sharply down onto the short green
The worst: 9th hole - sharp curve to the left requires a good hook shot
Sandringham Golf Links Course, 05/20/2007
An Excellent course, challenging with some very long holes, ideal you'd think for long hitters however be warned that there are many holes with dog legs both to the left and right and many bunkers on the fairway.
The placement of the tees, fairways, greens, bunkers, holes makes this course quite challenging as many of the fairways are wide and therefore unprotected by weather effects such as strong cross-winds and rain. Add to this a mixture of fast and slowish greens coupled with an undulating course and you have the ideal golf strategist course.
Originally part of Royal Melbourne Golf course with the back nine being the original nine holes when RMGC sold to Sandringham Golf links course until expansion to 12 holes and then finally the remaining 6 holes being added to make an 18 hole Golf course.
This Course not only has a quality Golf Pro Shop but a delightful kiosk cafe. Furthermore Golf Lessons are available.
The best: 3rd Hole - trickier from men's tee, straighter from women's tee, possible to birdee this hole
The worst: the back nine - with bunkers a plenty and undulating fairways
Royal Park Public Golf Course, 05/12/2007
Like Oakleigh Public Golf Course this is officially a nine hole Public Golf Course and for those wanting to play 18 holes you just go round for a seconnd time.
Being a 9 hole Golf course don't assume this is any easy course, it's not that by any stretch of the imagination. Not only is the Golf Course divided by a Railway line, it is also divided by a Tram line. Add to this some tricky dog-leg holes and golfer's who like a challenge will certainly find this here.
This course is designed to get you thinking about placement of the ball right from the tee, through the fairways and onto the green. There are only three par 3's on this course with four par 4's and two par 5's both for Men and the Ladies.
Having an electric operated buggy or cart is an advantage when it comes to walking from the 1st hole to the 2nd and back from the 8th to the 9th hole.
The greens are fast, with some of them having some tricky and deceiving lies, sending your putt swerving to the left or right of the hole and rolling long away from it's intended target.
Whilst the 1st and 4th holes are Par 3's, they are nice and straight, a welcome relief from the challenges of the other seven holes. Hole six is the other Par 3 and quite short with a dog-leg to the left from the fairway, don't allow the space on this hole to deceive you.
The remainder of the holes have quite sharp dog-legs on the fairway's with the ninth hole being the most severe, add to this the hidden bunker in front of the green and the high mounds, in order to get on the green you will need the ball not only to gain height in it's approach to the green but a good dead stop to ensure the fast green doesn't send it rolling to the opposite side. Ideal placement would be in front of the green, after the bunker to allow a nice chip onto the green, to ensure that Par 4 - and no I didn't get Par 4 as my putting let me down here.
The best: 1st and 4th holes - short and straight
The worst: 9th hole - with a bunker infront of the green
Oakleigh Public Golf Course, 05/06/2007
Although there are only 9 holes in reality to complete 18 holes you just go round a second time. My big hint here is play for 9 and 18 holes. Why? Well, this is a mainly Par 3 course and great for beginners or practice for regular social Golfers. You see, you use the first 9 holes as a practice and then the 18 for your real round - yes, I realise this means an early start and a whole day at the course but if you are looking for consistency in your game, a nice course for warm up and gaining your rhythm, then this course is for you.
Just because it's a mainly a Par 3 course, it's not without it's challenges and when you try the first hole for the first time or the first time in ages, you'll see what I mean and why I suggest the practice 9 holes before a full round of 18, trust me your second round of 9 will be better than the first, then you'll be hooked on this course for learning about your Game.
Not only is there a creek running through the middle of the course, to which I have lost many a wayward ball too, there are elevated greens, two Par 4 holes one of exceptional distance and at present a long last Par 3 Hole.
Sadly, due to the drought this course has suffered greatly and there are many G.U.R. areas around greens, on the Fairways and between holes.
It also has a very nice Clubhouse in which to have a well earned drink in after.
The best: Hole 4 - nice length Par 3
The worst: Hole 1 - make sure you have warmed up before attempting this hole, as it's not as simple as it looks.
Brighton Golf Course, 05/06/2007
A Tricky, challenging course with tree-lined Fairways, bunkers a plenty and a Lake to challenge the best of Golfers, not to mention fast and pitched greens.
For the long drivers, there are plenty of traps and anyone with a Hook or Slice shot will often wander onto other Fairways, frequently shouts of 'fore' can be heard from every angle - so keep your eyes peeled or have good insurance!
Safety and straight shots coupled with a strong short game will make you overcome this championship course.
At weekends there is a constant stream of eager players, being that it's a public course and in high demand you may have to be patient before teeing off on the first tee.
Bookings are essential if you wish to ensure play, however, do this at least 24 hours in advance (more for Larger Groups) and be warned if you book for 4 at 1pm, all 4 MUST turn up at 1pm otherwise you cannot get a refund on monies paid.
Mid-week it's a little quieter but not much, the only time you can guarantee a less hurried game (let's face it GOLF should never be hurried but enjoyed at a leisurely pace) is if a Torrential downpour starts in the morning and continues - this happens rarely but will give the keen all weather Golfer a chance to an even more challenging game.
You can either play 9 or 18 holes except Weekends and Public Holidays, where 18 holes are required.
The best: Hole 4 - short Par 3 with a few suprises in store
The worst: Hole 8 - for the Lake Water Hazard that phases everyone who sees it
