We have a new chart and table to tell you how many putts you do from different distances. Are you struggling and two putting short putts? Three putting too often from medium distances? Come to golfity and find out!
We have a new feature in the golfity app, the percent of putts by distance. This new chart and table will tell you the percent of 1, 2, 3 and even 4+ putts you have made, both in total and by distance.
Check it out on this table from one of our users:
If you look at the last row in the chart, named Total, you can see that this user only three putts in 5% of the holes (22 times). And he has never three putted from a distance below 20 feet, really solid stats.
From 35 feet or more, he three putted 28% of the times, maybe there are some strokes to shave there.
The table also shows your putts to hole, the average number of putts you need to hole from that distance. In our example, the average putts to hole from 20-25 feet is 1.98 putts.
Do you want to know these metrics for your game? Just head on to golfity and sign up, it's free and you will get these and many more metrics to improve your game!
Your scores are yours and only yours and you should be free to take them wherever you want and analyze them however you like. We built this feature for you to do whatever makes sense for your game without feeling limited by what we offer here on golfity.
You asked for it and you have it, enter the club you used in each shot and get your stats and strokes gained by club
golfity can also track your traditional stats, as greens in regulation, fairways hit, putting average...
"If you’re serious about getting to scratch, you should be using strokes gained analysis". That's what Sean Denning concludes in his blog, Par Machine.
If you want to lower your scores reducing the number of awful shots should be one of your key priorities.
